    Hardtech-first engineering support.

We work on physical systems — instruments, hardware, and the integration that makes them run — not just software. Our founder has 10+ years building instruments and systems and deploying them, all to solve hard problems.

  • Our Services

    Prototype & Proof-of-Concept Development

    • Rapid design, fabrication, and testing of early-stage prototypes
    • Hardware and integrated hardware–software systems
    • Functional models to support patent filings, investor demos, or grant proposals

    Technology Commercialization & R&D Consulting

    • NSF I-Corps–style customer discovery and market validation
    • Technical due diligence and feasibility analysis for startups or investors
    • Support for SBIR/STTR, NIH S10, or other federal funding proposals and state (e.g. TEDCO in the state of Maryland)

    Robotics and autonomous systems

    • ROS2 and Nav2 navigation stacks, including custom node development
    • Visual SLAM and 3D mapping in GPS-denied indoor environments (RTAB-Map, depth cameras, LiDAR)
    • NVIDIA Jetson deployment with GPU-accelerated perception and on-device vision-language inference
    • Multi-sensor integration and platform-agnostic payload design for legged, wheeled, and tracked bases
    • Digital-twin and point-cloud generation for facility documentation and inspection workflows
    • Simulation-based development and validation (Isaac Sim, Gazebo)

    Optical, laser, and imaging systems

    • Optical and illumination system design: light-source and lens selection, ray-trace modeling, and prototype characterization
    • Laser safety analysis per ANSI Z136.1 and IEC 60825-1: hazard classification, MPE and NOHD calculations, and evaluation of energy-based devices
    • Machine vision and imaging pipeline development, from camera and optics selection to GPU-accelerated OCR and vision-language inspection
    • Optical detection and measurement: spectroscopy, light scattering, fluorescence, and time-resolved instrumentation
    • Radiometric, photometric, and image-quality testing, including calibration targets and phantoms for imaging systems
    • Diagnosis, repair, and remote-automation upgrades of legacy laser and optical instruments
  • How we work

We work two ways: project-based when the scope is defined, or hourly when it is not. You set the direction; we execute without lengthy meetings or milestone bureaucracy.

    • Project-based. A defined scope, fixed deliverables, and a quote agreed up front. Best when you know what needs to be built.
    • Hourly. Time bought in prepaid 10-hour blocks. A new block is invoiced when the current one is roughly half consumed, so work never stalls on paperwork. Best for exploratory, advisory, or ongoing work.
    • Live documentation. Every engagement gets a shared folder. Drafts, designs, test data, and notes are visible as they are produced, not at the end.
    • Rapid turnaround. Decisions and questions get answered same-day where possible.
    • Exit at any time. If the engagement is not working, we finalize documentation, hand over everything, and part ways. No termination fees, no retained IP.
